RYAN NEVILLE SMOKE AND MIRRORS

This is a story involving no gun wielding aliens, killer robots or gothic vampires or for that matter Harry Potter or any hobbits either. So rest easy if you were worried about coming across those weird pointy eared dudes. My name is Ryan Neville. This is how I went on vacation and ended up trying to unravel a mystery behind a major catastrophe. A fire erupted out of nowhere in the hotel we were staying in, killing dozens and nearly destroying the lives of the people I care most. A truly tragic accident...except it's not. Incidentally, I happen to be in the very same place the real culprit is thought to be in. To uncover the truth, I have to delve into shadows of my past. You wouldn't blame me if I backed out... I made a promise though, and there's no going back.
